This Painting by Peder Mork Monsted has the mood we are looking to achieve in the Past Scenes

This color scheme is sort of the feeling for the past, but maybe more warms
this palette can work for the nightmare scene
this color palette can work for the transformation scene
The colors here are bare and minimal and can work well for the present scenes where the character is depressed.
